Ugh, my hair is trashed from all the sweating. I just had to choose the hottest day of 2018 (so far) to move.

I also found a $1000 Leesa mattress just chilling out at a thrift store for $130-ish. I nearly broke my arm getting my debit card out. lol

Side note: I’m currently researching a possible career change into becoming a pilot. I mean, why just be content in my career when I could be high ? Maybe tech is not where my career flourishes and ends...More research is needed.

I liked the other pic where your Smarts were lined up in front of a U-haul. It reminded me of when locomotives daisy chain to pull really long trains.

Yeah but can you tow a 10,000 pound trailer up the Davis Dam at 75mph???

CAN YOU??? IF YOUR CAR CAN’T DO THAT, IT MIGHT BLOW UP!!!

LOL

Seriously though, I’m not that surprised that the Smart can do at least some towing. Tow ratings in North America these days seem to be set for avoiding lawsuits from idiots and getting people to buy more oversized expensive trucks.

My Alma Mater is a huge flight school and they have a satellite campus out in Rockford. They are really expensive though. Being a pilot is tough in that it takes tons of training, and therefore cash, to get your ratings and then you need a bunch of flight hours (which my friends usually got by being flight instructors) before the airlines will hire you. Then the pay is low until you get seniority.

My best advice would be to go take a few lessons at a local airport. No one becomes a pilot for the money, you gotta love it and by the time you are ready to take the test for your private pilots license you will know if you love it or not.

That’s really solid (I think lol) advice! Thank you so much! Best to try it out before diving in deep. I guess that kinda works with everything.

O and if you want to geek out at planes and talk to a ton of pilots try to head up to the EAA Airventure in Oshkosh, WI. It’s basically the biggest airshow on the continent. It’s at the end of July. Couple of my college buddies basically ‘roadtripped’ a tiny plane loaded with camping gear all the way there from Florida and camped next to the runway under their planes’ wings
